Poem for Dad by Gary R. Hess
This poem is about how my father and I never had a great relationship. Even today, we barely talk. However, when I was younger our relationship was horrible. There was about a ten year period where we barely said a word to one another. Actually, even when he wanted to tell me something, he would have my mother tell me instead.

Years do not heal the ache, but discourse does change its pace. We changed the path for harmony, so now we call each other family. by Gary R. Hess
