The Descendants is a comedy drama film that follows the life of Matt King who's trying to reconnect with his two daughters after his wife's accident. During their reconnection, King is also put in charge of deciding what to do with the family's land: sell it to a large corporation which will eventually destroy its beauty and create a resort, or keep it for his children to appreciate when they are older.
